Knolls of Yorktowne is on the South end of Lombard, south of Roosevelt Road and north of Butterfield Road. The homes were  built in 1989 by Smykal builders, from Wheaton. There are 51 homes in this subdivision. There were three models to choose from, each with choices of elevation.  Most have brick and siding combinations.

All these homes are either 3 or 4 bedrooms around 2100-2500 square feet. The north end of this subdivision backs up to the soccer fields and park district property. This is one of the move up areas for buyers who own smaller homes in town and they want more space and to stay in town.
